Calcium: sequestering power

The sequestering power is assessed by filtration of a hard solution 302dH, adjusted to pH 11, heated and maintained at
90??C for 60′. After filtration with black filter, effectiveness can be evaluated as a function of filter cleaness.

Iron: sequestering power

A solution of denoted iron (III) is prepared and brought to the required pH. PREQUEST S/32 is added to the bath and
subsequentely heated to 90??C and maintained for 60 min. The filtration of the bath shows the sequestring effect of 1 and 2 g/l of
PREQUEST S/32 at pH 10 and 12.
