Tegewa Drop Test
The test evaluates hydrophilicity by measuring the time required for the absorption of a drop of water, layed down from 40 mm high and the surface of fabric that has been wetted by the drop. Test performed on 100% PES knitwear.
Note
The hydrophility of an article depends on its structure, the type of fiber, the treatments it has been subjected before, the residues of surfactants and chemicals such as the pre-sence of fixing agents (on dyed or printed articles). Preliminary checks are then recommended.
