Anti-catalytic effect and peroxide stabilization power
Iron containing fabrics are very difficult to bleach in peroxide baths: catalytic reactions are responsible for fibres damages and low degree of white. To show this, a cold pad batch bleaching was performed on two grey fabrics from different origins, one of which containing high level of iron. The graph figures bellow indicates how peroxide stabilization and an-ti-catalytic action increase when using suitable dosage of PRECOT CP-S, what allow to boost whiteness even on articles with high amounts of iron.
